COSHH Awareness Course

The COSHH Awareness training course is suitable for persons who have Managerial or Supervisory responsibilities as it is focused on the understanding of the requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations and the means of controlling hazardous substances at work.

Whilst Employees will also benefit by being able to more readily identify hazardous substances and understand COSHH Assessments, thus facilitating the reduction of accidents and incidents of ill health in the workplace.

Our COSHH Awareness Training covers the following:

• Legal requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations
• Types of Hazardous Substances which you may find in the Workplace
• Requirements for the provision of Safety Data Sheets
• COSHH Assessments and Control Measures
• Understanding Safety Labels and Signage

We recommend that this course be attended every 3-years as legislation (the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations) may change in the interim period.

How long does COSHH training last?

Our COSHH training course lasts half a day, at either our venue, which can host up to 5 people, or yours, with a recommended 12 participants as a maximum.

How long does the COSHH certificate last?

Once completing the COSHH course, your certificate does not expire, and in theory will always be valid. We recommend that the COSHH training course be attended every 3-years as legislation (the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations) may change in the interim period.

Classroom Training

Our COSHH Awareness course is a scheduled half day course and is delivered either:

At Our Venue – this venue is suitable for up to 5 persons.

At Your Venue – the number of attendees being recommended to be up to 12 as this ensures optimum attendee participation and learning experience.
